Accommodation & Facilities

What do you offer?

We currently have 3 options to stay with us, and you must be a member of the Woodland Champions to stay (Free membership):

  1. Bring you own tent and pitch up, pitch where you want at least 10m away from anyone else (Unless they’re part of your group).
  2. Stay in our luxury bell tent, complete with double bed, electric sockets for charging devices. We can provide cooking and cooling equipment if needed, but it’s better to bring your own if you have it.
  3. Relax in our shepherds hut, a 25ft long and 8ft wide cabin complete with electricity, hot and cold water, it’s own filtered drinking water, a double bed (This is a luxury sofa bed), air fryer and cooking equipment, a coffee machine, 2 desks to work from, a satelite TV that has on-demand options (If you really need to binge that Netflix series). A real home from home

Please do consider that you’re in the countryside close to nature, that means you are likely near to bugs, spiders and other wildlife.

Facilities

The entire site has super fast WiFi, so if you’re looking to do some gaming, TikTok scrolling or work remotely, we’ve got you covered.

Toilet facilities consist of either a chemical toilet or a composting toilet – We would prefer guests use the compost toilet but understand that some may feel more comfortable using a chemical toilet.

Currently our showering facility is a portable shower tent, whilst it does have hot and cold running water, we are looking to introduce a more comfortable unit later this year.

A disc-golf basket and frisbees to play, as well as tee-off points marked out in the field (Please do be mindful of the animals and people around you!).

Air rifle shooting – this can be arranged in advance, this is a supervised activity, adults only.

A variety of animals, if you’d like to meet, feed or walk the animals, just let us know when booking and we’ll find a time suitable, weather allowing.

A short 2 minute walk away there is a playing field including childrens play equipment.

There are also plenty of walking and cycling routes nearby and some great dog walks.

Food

We love to cook, so if you’re interested in breakfast or dinner bring brought to you, let us know, options will be based on local produce and what’s in season. We’re happy to cater to specific dietary requirements (We eat low-carb ourselves). We recommend trying our sausages if we have them available, from pigs that we raise ourselves.

There are a few places nearby that deliver take-away food, including a delicious local indian restaurant that is within walking distance (Or we can bring the food down to you). Other options include chinese food, pizza and occasionally gastro-pub options.
